Carols for Everyone

A collection of Christmas songs written specifically for both adult and children’s voices, produced by the Carnegie UK Trust, Making Music and Music Sales.

We’ve taken members' feedback very seriously about the gap in choral repertoire for pieces that can be performed by adults and children together.

In 2013, we were thrilled to launch Carols for Everyone, a new collection of seven festive pieces written specifically for both adult and children’s voices.

Making Music was delighted that the Carnegie UK Trust supported the project, which both organisations hope will make it easier for more people to come together to sing.

The collection, funded by the Carnegie UK Trust and published by Novello, includes six arrangements of well-known carols, such as Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer and Silent night, and an original piece by Paul Mealor. Paul composed music for the marriage of Prince William and Catherine Middleton and wrote the Military Wives Choir’s number one single Wherever You Are.

Every piece can be performed by SATB adult choir and children, or by children with piano accompaniment alone, making this group of pieces flexible and approachable for all. You can listen to some samples below, or download a sample copy of the sheet music.
