Aveley & Newham Band

Aveley & Newham Band is a competition and concert band based in the village of Aveley in Essex.
With a history dating back to 1894, the band is one of the oldest and most successful brass bands in the South East of England. The band has taken part in The National Championships of Great Britain Finals at the Royal Albert Hall on 9 occasions and competed at The British Open Contest on 2 occasions.
A not for profit self funding organisation, we rehearse twice a week on Monday and Thursday evening at our own band hall in Aveley.
