Barnsley Brass

Barnsley Brass are a traditional British brass band, based in Worsborough, Barnsley. We have been entertaining Yorkshire and beyond since 1906 with everything from light music to serious works and competition repertoire. Barnsley Brass are ranked in the second section of brass band competition, within the Yorkshire region.

The band are a self funded organisation of committed players and volunteers that work hard to provide great concerts for the public and also for weddings or your corporate event.

We are led by Musical Director, William Rushworth, a world renowned Tenor Horn player who has played for many top bands such as Grimethorpe, Black Dyke, Brighouse & Rastrick, Carlton Main Frickley and Leyland Band amongst others.
