Birchwood Community Brass Band

We are a very friendly community concert brass band in Warrington, Cheshire. We have excellent road links to other parts of the North West, with junctions to both the M6 and the M62 very close. We don't take ourselves too seriously and aways have a good laugh. We do, however take our music seriously and play music that we enjoy and constantly try to develop each player with challenging arrangements, but never pushing ourselves to the point where it's no longer fun.

The band's major objectives just now are to:

Attract new players to the Main band
Increase the quality and quantity of local engagements that we carry out and build links with other organisations in the community - we aim to perform at least one concert per quarter
Collaborate with other nearby bands to share deputies and put on joint engagements

We rehearse every Wednesday evening, 19:00 until 20:30 (beginners at 18:15), in St Elphin's Community Centre, if you wish to join us, just drop in, you will be most welcome.
