Eclectics Community Choir

The Eclectics is a community choir based in Adisham, run by Vanessa Young. Our name reflects our repertoire which includes a wide range of genres – gospel, folk, pop,jazz standards and music from around the world.

The choir currently has approximately 30 members drawn not just from Adisham, but from Canterbury, Faversham, Folkestone, Margate and surrounding villages

We’re an ‘all-comers’ choir – meaning that there are no auditions and anyone who is prepared to join in with enthusiasm and commitment is welcome. Some members read music, but some do not. As many of our members sing in other choirs, the rehearsal schedule is deliberately fairly undemanding – roughly once every 3 or 4 weeks 16-17.30 on a Saturday
