Howdenshire Music Project

Howdenshire Music Project is passionate about bringing high quality classical music performances to communities in and around Howden and the surrounding region of East Yorkshire.

The project runs a popular free lunchtime concert series on the third Thursday of each month and occasional evening concerts, featuring a varied line-up of professional musicians. Concerts are held at our beautiful partner venue of Howden Minster - a magnificent historic church whose imposing tower can be seen for many miles around the area.

Howdenshire Music Project was founded in 2019 and is a registered charity. The project is committed to supporting the next generation of musicians and to provide access to educational musical opportunities for young people in the area. The project also aims to support and provide a platform for emerging and established professional musicians and composers.
