Ironbridge Gorge Brass Band Festival

A two-day annual free festival of brass band music with ticketed charity concert on one of the evenings. This inclusive event encourages brass bands of all standards and backgrounds to participate in a celebration of this music genre. The festival environment offers a more relaxed atmosphere free from competition and allows the young, new, mature and very experienced players to experience a big stage and audience alongside their fellow players and peers. An opportunity also to showcase their bands to generate interest in vacancies and/or forthcoming events. The event is free to attend allowing like-minded people of all economic situations to attend, meet old friends and enjoy their favourite music.
