Stompin on The Quomps

Annual one day smooth Jazz Festival in Christchurch Dorset on The Quomps, a waterside park. Founded 1994 and established as a Community Interest Company in 2009. Programme is between 6 and 10 bands. Has run additional concerts by leading jazz artists in local Theatre and Church. Much loved event that attracts up to 5,000 people. Financed by donations, raffles, traders, sponsorship and periodic grants. Run by voluntary committee. No paid staff.
