Trowbridge Symphony Orchestra | Making Music

Trowbridge Symphony Orchestra

Based in Trowbridge, the County Town of Wiltshire, the Trowbridge Symphony Orchestra is a friendly amateur orchestra with a strong reputation.

Under the baton of Phil Draisey, we play a wide range of music (some very challenging) to an increasingly high standard. We draw our c.65 members from around Wiltshire and rehearse weekly during term time, performing 3 concerts per year to capacity audiences usually at The Wiltshire Music Centre or Holy Trinity Church, both in Bradford-on-Avon.

While playing orchestral music is our raison d’être, to fulfil our obligations as a charity we have an increasingly active outreach programme to encourage local young people to play orchestral musical instruments.
