Waltham Singers

Waltham Singers are based in Chelmsford and are one of the foremost local amateur choirs; an adult SATB choir who sing a wide range of choral music, sacred and secular. We have recently celebrated our 50th Anniversary, the past forty under the musical direction of Andrew Fardell. We sing three concerts a year, of which one or two are in Chelmsford Cathedral and the others usually at Great Waltham, though we sang at Waltham Abbey immediately prior to Lockdown. Our concerts are performed with professional orchestras and soloists. We have had successful tours to Bruges, Venice and Weilberg in the past. See www.walthamsingers.org.uk for more info.

New members are always welcome and there are no auditions, but we aim for a high standard. We rehearse each Thursday in term time at 8pm at St Cedd's School, New London Road, Chelmsford.
