British Kodály Academy, Board of Trustees – Finance lead

The British Kodály Academy (BKA) is a national charity providing high quality music education, developing confident teachers and motivated students.  

We are looking for a volunteer financial professional who is passionate about music and education to join our reconstituted Board of Trustees at a very exciting time for the charity. As we continue to move forward, we are looking to develop our management approach and broaden our reach, ensuring that the Kodály approach to teaching music is at the heart of the nation’s music education communities.  

This is a financial management role. The Board of Trustees is supported by an Operations Team who deliver the day-to-day activities of the BKA. 

Time commitment and location

The Board of Trustees currently meets monthly but over time, this is likely to reduce to bi-monthly. Meetings are usually held online although there may be a requirement to meet occasionally face to face. The role is not location dependent.
