Treasurer

The Oxted & Limpsfield Music Society has been existence for 75 years.  

We hold 6 concerts a year and invite the very best musicians to perform.  The venue for concerts is the Bawtree Hall, Hazelwood School, Limpsfield RH8 0QU.

The most recent concert (April 2024) was Paul Lewis CBE playing Schubert sonatas.  A list of recent concerts can be seen on our website https://www.olms.org.uk/

The committee is looking for a new treasurer starting from 1st August.  This role involves:

• dealing with income from ticket sales (mostly via TicketLab), making payments in relation to the concerts (fees, expenses etc) and sundry items.  Online banking.
• producing accounts at the end of July each year.   A copy of last year's accounts can be provided to anyone who is interested.
• keeping committee members updated about ticket sales, and the financial outcome of each concert.
• attending committee meetings (if sufficiently local) or possibly joining via zoom.  Exact arrangements flexible.

The committee is a small enthusiastic group of people who enjoy bringing great music to our local community.  We are open to ideas for ways of expanding our audience and improving how we work.  All suggestions welcome!
