A Summer at Sea | Making Music

A Summer at Sea

Our programme for a summer evening includes the rousing ‘Songs of the Fleet’ by Stanford, and the lively ‘Captain Noah and his Floating Zoo’ by Horovitz & Flanders, as well as several shorter pieces by Parry, Ireland and MacMillan on a similar theme. We will be accompanied by pianist Emelia Noack-Wilkinson and bass soloist Geoff Clapham, conducted by our musical director Hugh Beckwith.

We will be making a cash collection for ‘The River Thames Boat Project’ which provides therapeutic and educational boat trips for local community groups, and especially for those who are vulnerable, disadvantaged, isolated at home or living with disabilities.

Tickets available on our website eghamchoral.org/tickets/ or from choir members. £15 general admission, £10 students/under 18s, tickets include programme.  Wine and juice available to purchase during the interval. Please note the concert starts at 5pm with an approximate finish at 6.45pm.
