Award-winning London Choir hold open rehearsal for new members
Southern Spirit Singers would love you to join their open rehearsal on Sunday 21st September. Founded in 2015 by conductor Andy King, Southern Spirit Singers is an award-winning, acapella chamber choir. The choir rehearse in London once a month, with Andy and assistant conductor, Jonathan Davies.
The group performs a wide unaccompanied repertoire, in many styles and languages, ranging from early music to the present day. They have a particular interest in music by contemporary composers. Their debut digital album, First Light, featuring 21st-century works, was released in November 2022 and can be found here.
The choir is looking to recruit new members (especially Tenors and Basses) and are holding an open rehearsal for anyone interested. If you then want to join the choir, there would be an audition at the end of the session. Or you’re more than welcome to just come along for a sing!
