National Youth Orchestra members perform with Magna Sinfonia

Magna Sinfonia are delighted to welcome the previous and current principal viola players from the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain for their February concert.

Nathalie Green-Buckley is the former principal viola and is about to complete her Masters degree in performance at the Royal Academy of Music.  Helena Bartlett is the current principal viola and also leads the award-winning Wessex Youth Orchestra and is currently completing her A-levels at Bournemouth School. Both players are from the Bournemouth area and they join Magna Sinfonia to perform Mozart’s sublime Sinfonia Concertante for violin, viola and orchestra.

Classical music-lovers will also be treated to performances of Schubert’s Rosamunde Overture and Schumann’s Symphony No. 4 with the concert conducted by Susanna Riddell.
