Newzik is a digital score management and sharing application created in 2014 by music enthusiasts Jean-Louis Lasseri and Aurélia Azoulay.
Their goal? To revolutionise musical practice by enabling musicians, leisure-time and professionals alike, to access their digital score library directly from their iOS smartphone or tablet. Newzik also enables users to add annotations to their scores and share them in real time with other musicians.
Newzik also developed its own Artificial Intelligence (AI) that can interpret sheet music. It then generates an audio rendering to help each musician accelerate their learning process. With a single click, tempo can be altered, an instrument added or removed from the ensemble, or a backing track created.
Newzik collaborates with major publishers who realise the benefits of a digital score library. Newzik's customers include La Scala, the Vienna Opera and the Orchestre national d'Île-de-France, as well as hundreds of thousands of music lovers worldwide.
Download the Newzik app on your iPhone or iPad to access all its features.
