Take it away scheme: interest-free finance when buying a musical instrument

Lanched in 2007, the 'Take it away' scheme works with music retailers to provide interest-free finance for the purchase of musical instruments and equipment, helping to ensure that more people can access instruments and learn to play. As of August 2017, the scheme has been expanded to cover all age groups and to include digital musical equipment and musical accessories like cases.

Musical Instrument Insurance Plus

We have worked with an insurance broker called Marsh Commercial (Marsh) and the insurance underwriter, Royal Sun Alliance (RSA), for some time to offer instrument insurance.

These partnerships with Marsh commercial and RSA have now ended.  

What does this mean if you have an existing policy? 

If you have an existing policy, nothing changes. It remains in place and unchanged until the expiry date and your policy documents will remain available via the Making Music website.
