The Small Match Funding scheme forms part of Breckland Council's Community Funding Reserve, which is a group of funding streams that have been designed to empower groups and individuals within the district to deliver projects at a local level that align with the Council's objectives. It is an 'enabling fund' that aims to encourage 'localism' in addressing identified community need.
The Small Match Funding scheme offers grants to cover up to 50% of the total project costs.
The Pride in Breckland Fund is provided and administered by Breckland Council. The finances for this funding stream come from the second homes council tax and the Fund is intended to support local not-for-profit organisations to improve the environment and the lives of residents living in the Breckland area.
