Nobody knows what's best for our communities better than the communities themselves. We listen to their ideas and help where we can. Applications must meet at least one of the fund’s core themes. We’re happy to discuss whether your project fits our themes before application.

Golsoncott Foundation

Arts organisations across the UK can apply for grants of up to £3,000 to deliver projects that demonstrate and deliver excellence in the arts.

The funding is made available by the Golsoncott Foundation, an arts-funding trust whose objective is to promote, maintain, improve and advance the education of the public in the arts, particularly the fine arts and music.

Priority is given to applications from arts organisations whose raison d’être is the art form itself, and its perfection or excellence in performance.

Gatwick Airport Community Trust (South East of England)

The Gatwick Airport Community Trust has re-opened for applications. The Trust funds projects that are targeted towards the development of young people, the arts, sporting facilities, environmental improvement and conservation, improvements to community facilities, volunteering, the elderly and the disabled.

Grants of between £1,000 and  £5,000 are available to a wide range of organisations including charities, schools, and sports clubs.

Golsoncott Foundation

The trustees overriding concern is to support those projects that demonstrate and deliver excellence in the arts, be it in performance, exhibition, artistic craft, or scholarly endeavour.  Given the fierce competition for grants, the trustees favour applications from arts organisations whose raison d’être is the art form itself, and its perfection or excellence in performance. Grants rarely exceed £3,000, and are given on a non-recurrent basis with some exceptions.
