We are a long established amateur orchestra that meets on a Thursday termtime at St Michaels school in St Albans at 2000hrs
We are actively looking for new string players , grade 5 or above most welcome. We welcome any new players, come and try us out and see whether you will enjoy our wide range of music from new and more established composers. There is a annual fee of £90 per Calendar year which is waived for the first trial term or if unwaged .
This term we are working on Beethoven Piano concerto op15 , The ring of Kerry ( three pieces ) by Peter Hope , Brahms tragic overture , and some pieces by our in house composers .
We will be playing at a Christmas concert for around 100 residents of Wheathamstead as our final event on 16th December
