Belshazzar’s Feast is arguably the most exciting piece of choral music ever written. This concert will be a truly spectacular musical event as Epsom Choral Society, The Barnes Choir, Arcubus Ensemble, Baritone Philip Tebb and English Sinfonietta come together to present an unforgettable performance of Sir William Walton’s masterpiece.
With a full 80-piece orchestra (including the addition of two brass bands) and over 160 voices, the concert promises an exhilarating immersion into the grandeur and intensity of Walton’s composition.
The programme also includes well-loved works by Parry, Elgar and Vaughan Williams, completing an evening of the great 19th- and 20th-century British composers.
