BRIGHTON CONSORT – BACK TO BASICS (“remembering why we do what we do”). In their first full public appearance since March 2020, Brighton Consort confidently begin again with music by Josquin des Pres, Lassus, William Byrd, Thomas Tallis, Palestrina, and Victoria. They will be joined by the Ashdown Consort of Viols to celebrate the roots and variety of truly great choral and instrumental music. They will perform on Saturday January 29th at 6.00pm in St George’s Church, Kemptown, Brighton BN2 1ED.
