Congresbury Singers’ Spring concert is entitled “A Classical Celebration”, sticking to our tradition of performing a religious repertoire linked to Eastertime. The date for your diary is Saturday 13th April, 7.30pm at St. Andrews church, Congresbury.
Tickets can be purchased at Congrebury Post Office; RE:Store shop, Congresbury or on the door on the night.
Our main work is “Shubert’s mass in G”, plus Mozart favourites, “Ave Verum” and “Kyrie” and “The Heavens are Telling” chorus from Haydns' Creation.
We are joined by 3 professional soloists, who also will be entertaining us with operatic solos. The Bass solist, Robert Marson is a principal singer with Bristol Opera. Katherine Everett sings professionally and is a key member of Portishead Choral Society. Richard Lennox is the well known, accomplished Accompanist who joined us for our Xmas concert, so we’re in for a treat.
