Now in its 8th year, ChoirCommunity has grown from a tiny startup to a significant music marketplace for choirs of all shapes and sizes. Find out about how and why we got started and explore with us the library of nearly 2000 titles including some unexpected gems.
All the music we have collected at ChoirCommunity has been composed or arranged by 29 submitting musicians, all of whom are also experienced choir leaders. Over 13,000 choirs have now signed up with around 200 more joining every month (mostly through word of mouth).
The breadth of music we offer is probably more than you think and during the session we will search the collection for some of the best and unexpected examples, listening to the high-quality audio recordings on the website which enable every piece to be fully previewed before purchase.
We will also talk about our licencing model and music licencing in general highlighting the importance of this in terms of recognising and rewarding the efforts of the musicians we support.
There will be an opportunity to ask questions during the event.
Who this event is for: Choir directors, leaders, committee members or anyone who is responsible for sourcing music for their choir. In addition, any choir members who are interested in finding out about new sources of music which they might like to sing.
