We have long wanted to have this exemplary group to sing for us and their appearance at the start of a new year promises to be one of our highlights. The King's Singers have represented the gold standard in a cappella singing on the world's greatest stages for over fifty years. They are renowned for their unrivalled technique, versatility and skill in performance, and for their consummate musicianship, drawing both on the group's rich heritage and its pioneering spirit to create an extraordinary wealth of original works and unique collaborations.

A key to the group's success has been their ability to evolve and innovate over many years — and through 28 individual members — while always retaining this special sound and musical integrity. They are known and loved around the world, and appear regularly in major cities, festivals and venues across Europe, North America, Asia and Australasia.

For the first time in The King’s Singers’ history, there is a king as our sovereign. To mark the accession of King Charles III to the throne, and the extraordinary contribution of Queen Elizabeth II to our country, Commonwealth and the whole world over her 70 year reign, The King’s Singers have created this royal programme ‘Long Live the King’. It explores the wealth of music associated with and created for royal occasions celebrating some of the famous songs connected with our royal family and history. The programme also includes audience favourites and new surprises from the King’s Singers treasure trove of pop, jazz, folk and spiritual arrangements.

‘astonishing, exhilarating musicianship’ (Gramophone) and ‘seamless blend and pitch - perfect, liquid tone’ (Washington Post)
