A cappella concert | Music for Midsummer
TALES FROM AN ENCHANTED FOREST &
St George's Bloomsbury • June 17th
Join us for an evening of Nordic choral music — some by traditional tunesmiths and some by modern new composers. There will be radiant sunsets and glistening creeks, trolls and elfins, chaste adoration & frivolous frolic, in an unforgettable blend of lyrical folklore and choral works.
Program
The musical journey will feature pieces such as Stjärntändning, I Seraillets Have and Trolldans under the baton of Carina Einarson. A celebration of summer's wonder and the deep-rooted storytelling traditions of the Nordic lands in both major & minor, through that illusive Scandinavian choral sound. Don't miss this escape from the hustle and bustle of our urban city to an enchanted forest. We can’t wait to see you there!
