This summer, we are going to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War (1939 - 1945). In this concert, we will celebrate some of the best of British choral music from that period such as:
Ernest Bulock: Give us the wings of Faith
John Ireland: Greater Love hath no Man
Herbert Sumsion: They that go down to the Sea in Ships
Charles Villiers Stanford: Songs of the Sea
plus a rousing Last Night of the Proms medley!
The choir will be conducted by Jamie Conway and accompanied by Ivan Linford.
