Ceremony of Carols by Benjamin Britten

South Somerset Music Centre are delighted to welcome Molly Soo and Maisie Lewis from Voces Amici with contralto Abby Parmenter and treble soloist Emily Butcher to perform Benjamin Britten's Christmas masterpiece, Ceremony of Carols, a strikingly conceived dramatic work of eleven movements for three part choir with treble solos, originally scored for harp, but played on piano by Jonathan Delbridge in this performance.

In addition to this seasonal favourite work, there will be arrangements for upper voices of some Christmas favourites as well as audience participation in some carol singing!

This performance will last for around an hour with no interval.  Mince pies included!
