The Alke String Quartet formed in 2011 from members of the South Bank Sinfonia. They were quartet-in-residence at the Royal College of Music from 2015 to 2017, and also spend a winter residence in Banff.
The Alke String Quartet will perform the following programme:
- Haydn: Quart in G major Op.64 No.4
- Beethoven: Quartet in F minor Op.95
- Shubert: Quartet in G major D.887
