Audience members are welcome to join us for tea at 4pm before the informal concert.
MUSIC: We shall be using the Cramer Musical edition of Parry’s Songs of Farewell. A limited number of copies will be available for hire on the day.

Ralph Allwood MBE was for 26 years Director of Music at Eton College. He is now Director of
the Eton Choral Courses and of the Rodolfus Choir, which is made up of the best singers
from the courses; the Rodolfus sound has been described as ‘unspeakably beautiful' by
Gramophone, and the Choir has produced over 20 CDs, including Parry’s Songs of Farewell.
Ralph directs the Old Royal Naval College Trinity Laban Chapel Choir in Greenwich (the
only conservatoire chapel choir in the world) and the Chapel Music at Queens’ College,
Cambridge. He is an Honorary Fellow of University College, Durham. He is Choral Adviser to Novello
and to Trinity College, Oxford, and teaches at Trinity Laban Conservatoire and at his old school, Tiffin.
Ralph is founder and conductor of Inner Voices, a choir made up of singers from state schools
in London, and has conducted choirs for 40 live broadcasts for BBC Radio 3. He has written
much music heard worldwide on radio and television.
Ralph received his MBE in 2012.
