Wigan Music Society present The Larisa Piano Trio
Holders of the prestigious St James's Prize, the Christopher Rowland Chamber Music Ensemble of the Year Award and the Weil Prize amongst others. They were recently invited to take part in residencies in the Netherlands and Italy as part of the Orlando and Residart festivals respectively and were subsequently invited back the following year for the '22 season. The trio has appeared at renowned festivals such as the Leeds International Chamber Festival, Festival dei Giovani musicisti europei di Mondovì, RNCM Chamber Music Festival and Lake Summer Music, and performed in venues including Wigmore Hall, Teatro Pergolesi in Jesi, Italy, Buxton Pavilion and St James's Piccadilly.

Mozart Piano Trio in C Major
Debussy Piano Trio in G Major
Haydn Piano Trio in A Major
Ravel Piano Trio in a minor
This will be the third attempt to engage the trio due to having to cancel the first booking due to the Covid-19 lockdown and in April 2023 the pianist fell and broke her shoulder at Victoria Station in Manchester.
