York Musical Society invites you to start your holiday season and get into the Christmas mood with a family-friendly afternoon performance of old favourites and a few festive surprises.
The music will include some well-loved choruses from Handel’s Messiah, carols both new and old, and Richard Shephard’s Mass of the Nativity. In addition, you can expect seasonal and uplifting pieces from David Pipe on organ and from the York Brass Quintet, who performed to great effect at last year’s Christmas concert.
Stay for tea and cake afterwards to complete the festive mood.
