Chiltern Camerata

The Chiltern Camerata is a Buckinghamshire-based string chamber orchestra whose players include music professionals and advanced amateurs. The orchestra performs music from a widely drawn repertoire. Our objective is to share the enjoyment of music-making and to bring a wide range of music to our audiences. Generally we perform three public concerts each year. Some of the concerts help to raise funds for charity.

Our guiding aim is to entertain audiences to music, ranging from the baroque era to the present day, in a friendly, un-stuffy environment.

We stage three concerts a year and through them we provide occasional opportunities for soloists to perform with an orchestra. Often we combine with wind players, choirs and others to offer a wider range of music than the typical string repertoire. As a non-profit organisation we simply seek to cover the costs of staging our concerts.
