The Adoramus Directors have been looking to appoint a new Director with immediate effect to join the Board of Trustees and act as Treasurer and Company Secretary with overall control of Adoramus finances.
This is an opportunity for an accountant or finance manager who is looking to offer their expertise as a volunteer in the charitable sector. An honorary position, this would appeal to someone with an active Christian faith and supportive of the Christian vision of Adoramus and its charitable aims.
The main responsibilities include:
1. Production of the annual Statutory Report and Accounts and liaison with the Independent Examiner
2. Bookkeeping and Management Accounts (ideally someone already familiar with Sage or willing to learn)
3. Preparation of regular Budget and Balance Sheet reports to the Directors and Management Group
4. Handling of Donations and Gift Aid
5. Preparation of Concert Budgets and Accounts
Subject to the successful recruitment of volunteers, it may be possible to offer assistance with some of tasks 2–5. Please also apply if you are able to fulfil some of the responsibilities.
