Accompanist for Didcot Choral Society

Accompanist (rehearsal and concert) – Didcot Choral Society (registered charity) from September 2025.

We are a long established (since 1958) and thriving Choral Society in the growing town of Didcot in South Oxfordshire. We have around 60 active members with a good balance across the four voices and although we are non-auditioning, we perform traditional and modern choral music to a consistently high standard.

We are looking for an accompanist for our rehearsals (Tuesdays 7.30-9.30) and potentially (depending on repertoire) for our three concerts a year, usually early December, Easter and June, plus the Town Carol Concert.

While we welcome applications from those at all stages in their career we are seeking an accompanist with the ability and skills (in particular sight reading) needed to provide professional standards of performance in a choral setting.

Competitive rates available for rehearsals and concert fees. The rehearsal venue is very accessible from public transport links and is within walking distance of Didcot Parkway station.
