Description of vacancy:
This is a volunteer role ideal for someone who wants to gain experience with public relations,
event coordination, and band management in a supportive and creative environment. An
interest in the band’s geek culture focus is important, music expertise is helpful but not
essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a main contact for venues, press, and collaborators, alongside the Chair and
- designated committee members.
- Write and distribute press releases, gig announcements, and promotional materials.
- Coordinate closely with the Volunteer Social Media Manager to present consistent
- messaging.
- Handle booking inquiries and liaise with venues on gig details.
- Communicate in a professional and positive manner aligned with our values of inclusivity
- and enthusiasm for geek culture.
- Support member communications, volunteer coordination, and event logistics as applicable.

Ideal Candidate:
- Passionate about geek culture and community-driven art projects.
- Good written and verbal communicator.
- Organized, dependable, and proactive.
- Some experience in PR, event management, or related fields is a bonus but not
- required.
- Must be 18+ and have the right to work in the UK.
