The Glyndwr Ensemble are a young Welsh charity formed to:
- Give young musicians an opportunity to create a career in music performance.
- Breakdown the barriers and see brass ensembles thrive in Chamber Music.
- Through concerts, masterclasses and workshops put smiles on people’s faces.
We want to recruit up to four new passionate trustees to join us over the next couple of years who will be active, enthusiastic and involved members of our dynamic and ambitious team.
Having formed early in the pandemic we are at last moving forward with plans for concerts late in 2021. During the lockdown we commissioned a concert programme of new musical arrangements of Sir Karl Jenkins’ most famous works which will be premiered later this year. We are currently fundraising to allow our Outreach projects to commence in 2022.
We would particularly, but not exclusively, welcome applications from people who can contribute to the team’s effectiveness in any or a combination of the following areas:
- Fundraising.
- Experienced in building relationships with funders.
- Experienced in outreach workshops.
- Welsh Speaker.
- Experienced in building relationships with classical music promoters.
