Music Director

Lutterworth and District Choral Society is a friendly, welcoming and long-established choir of over 60 members based in South Leicestershire.

We are seeking a professional musician to replace our successful, outgoing Music Director. The ideal candidate will have experience of leading choirs and be able to vocally coach singers of varying skill levels. Excellent communication and organisational skills (e.g. with resident accompanist) and an ability to create an enjoyable and inclusive rehearsal environment are essential.

The Music Director's main responsibilities will be planning and leading weekly rehearsals, selecting repetoire in collaboration with the committee, preparing for 3 regular concerts per year and occasionally sourcing and working with guest musicians.

Rehearsals are Mondays 7.30-9.30pm at Lutterworth Methodist Church. Start date is 12th January 2026, remuneration negotiable, based on experience.
