Musical Director - Didcot Choral Society (registered charity)

We are a long established and thriving Choral Society in the growing town of Didcot in South Oxfordshire. We have around 60 members with a good balance across the voices and, although we are non-auditioning, we perform traditional and modern choral music to a consitently high standard. We perform three concerts a year (usually early December, Easter and June) as well as collaborations and musical tours.

Musical Director

An enthusiastic, committed person with a sense of humour and patience, ready to take a choir of approximately thirty members (SATB), of mixed ability onto the next stage of a 30+ year history.  Based in Downderry, SE Cornwall, the choir has grown progressively in ability.  Just three conductors have been responsible for the progress and so the choir is looking for someone with a long term commitment.

Are you thinking of moving to the area?  If you are, the area has many attractions and is often called the forgotten corner of Cornwall.
