Wendover Choral Society wish to appoint a Music DIrector who will embrace the choir's enthusiastic spirit and our aspirations to improve our singing technique and to develop a better quality sound.

WCS is a small mixed-ability SATB group which attracts singers from the Buckinghamshire town of Wendover and a wide surrounding rural area. Our numbers fluctuate with our optimum being forty to forty-five singers.

 WIMBORNE CHORAL SOCIETY is seeking a new Musical Director

Wimbledon Symphony Orchestra is looking for a permanent Musical Director from September 2024. The orchestra was established in 1961. We play an exciting and varied repertoire, and regularly accompany some of the UK's finest emerging classical music talent, including Jennifer Pike, Imogen Hancock, Emily Davis, Benjamin Baker, Michael Petrov, Ben Goldscheider, Elena Abad and Charlotte Saluste-Bridoux. In the past soloists have included John Lill, Joanna McGregor, Michael Collins, James Gallway, Jack Brymer.

Braintree Male Voice Choir is looking to recruit a musical director.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled musician with a strong affinity to the LGBTQ+ community to support the continued growth of our choir and develop our performance/vocal skills and confidence. For many members the choir is our chosen Rainbow family and a safe space to be our authentic selves. Our musical director plays an essential part in fostering a welcoming, fun and inclusive environment.

The Edinburgh Bach Choir is an auditioned, amateur choir currently consisting of around 80 singers of all abilities. The choir rehearses regularly on Tuesday evenings at St Cuthbert’s Church, Lothian Road, Edinburgh, with performances on a weekend three times a year.

Fleetwood and District Choral Society is seeking a new Musical Director to start in September 2024.

We are a non-audition choir and deliver several quality performances annually with orchestra or organ.

At present we have a membership of 30-40 and hold our rehearsals im Fleetwood, with an accompanist, on Friday evenings 7:30 – 9:30.

We are looking for a Musical Director who has:

Experience of conducting an SATB choir and directing an orchestra.

A wide musical knowledge

Good communication skills with a sense of humour
