Milton Keynes Sinfonia: Conducting Opportunity

Applications are invited for guest conductors to direct a concert from January 2026.

Milton Keynes Sinfonia is comprised of talented players from the region, with music teachers and outstanding amateurs forming the orchestra. Currently, we have a membership of around 60.  The orchestra was established in 1971 and has been growing in strength under our long-term conductor, David Knight, who has been with the orchestra for over 30 years.

Artistic Team required to produce our next show at Chester Town hall on 1/2/3 October 2026.

Stoughton Hearts and Voices Community Choir (SHVCC) is seeking a friendly, energetic, and adaptable leader who believes singing should be joyful.

Our small but ambitious chorus is looking for a Musical Direector to guide us to a hgher level of ability.

After 15 years, our current Musical Director is leaving for pastures new, so we are looking for a new Musical Director to challenge us in different ways and take our group to the next level.  We are an inclusive community group which performs 5 concerts per year in Central London, performing a wide range of orchestral works to a very high standard. After many wonderful years, our amazing MD is retiring and now we’re looking for someone special to step in and lead our vibrant, fun-loving community choir in their weekly rehearsals.  We don’t hold auditions, we welcome all for our four-part harmony and love uplifting pop, contemporary & musical theatre tunes.
