Milton Keynes Chorale, a long-established 80-strong auditioned SATB choir, has a vacancy for a Musical Director, available from September 2017.  A start date of January 2018 might also be possible.  

We are looking for an outstanding musician with the personal qualities to motivate and bring out the best in choir members so that we can sustain and enhance our musical standards and our local reputation for quality performances.  The choir rehearses on Tuesday evenings during the academic terms and normally performs three main concerts plus a Christmas concert each year.

Conductor / Music Director

Halesowen Orchestra is looking for a new Conductor / Music Director to take up the position in September 2017. We currently have around 40 members and rehearse regularly on Monday evenings during school term times at Leasowes Community College, Halesowen, performing 3 concerts per year, often featuring up-and-coming young soloists, at Halesowen Cornbow Hall. The orchestra's repertoire is challenging and varied, including performances in recent years of Elgar's Violin Concerto, Mahler's Symphony No. 4 and Saint-Saëns' Piano Concerto No. 2.

We are an estalished friendly mixed voice choir of about 60 members who rehearse on Tuesday evenings in Broadstone in Dorset. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic musical director. Radcliffe on Trent Male Voice Choir, formed in 1983, has just returned from taking part in the 25th London Welsh Festival of Male Choirs at the Royal Albert Hall in London. We have around 35 members drawn from Nottinghamshire and our accompanist is the internationally renowned Eleonora Babitskaya, who has been with the choir for more than 17 years.

The Linlithgow String Orchestra was formed in May 2016 and is a fairly new group. It is an adult orchestra (18+ years) with an approximate standard of grade 5+. It is the only adult string orchestra in West Lothian. The group initially started as part of the BBC's "Get Playing" initiative and "come and play" sessions were held over the summer for musicians to drop in and play.
