Conductor/Music Director

As a choir we are seeking a new Musical Director to take up the post in September 2018.

The Felloiwship Singers of Shirley has been in existence for over 60 years.  It currently has around 40 members and is based in Shirley, Solihull, West Midlands. Choir members have a mixture of musical ability but are used to singing in four-part harmony.  The choir sings a wide variety of music including classical, pop, folk and songs from musicals, and enjoys the support of a skilled piano accompanist.

The Ulster Youth Choir wishes to appoint an Artistic Director to lead the artistic planning and activity of the organisation through the next three years. Ulster Youth Choir (UYC) is Northern Ireland’s National Youth Choir and provides young singers aged 11-24 with the unique opportunity to train with leading vocal and choral practitioners from throughout the UK and Ireland through a series of school workshops, residential music courses, concerts and master classes.

The Exon Singers seek a new Conductor and Artistic Director from Sping 2018, for this outstanding chamber choir of singers from all over the country that meet a couple of times a year, including an annual Festival in Devon at the end of July.  We have a long track record in commissioning, recording and broadcasting.  Please see our website for further details.

Warrington Youth Orchestra is looking for a concert band conductor/beginner brass tutor from Jan 2018.Sessions are 9.30am-midday every Saturday in term time at Bridgewater High School Upper, Warrington. Ludlow Choral Society will be appointing a conductor / music director to commence in January 2019. This SATB choir currently has over 100 members and there are no auditions. Founded in 1858, the Society has a long history, but is also open to new ideas and aspires to improve and develop into the future. Longwell Green Orchestra in Bristol has a vacancy for the post of Musical Director/Conductor. We are seeking an enuthusiastic and capable individual to motivate and inspire our members, whilst maintaining the friendly and inclusive atmosphere of the orchestra. Generations choir is a smallish  ( 15 to 20)  group of enthusiastic people who enjoy singing.  We  sing a range of, largely, popular songs from Abba to Adele, Beatles to Bono, Sound of Music, folk songs etc.  We rehearse weekly at Castle Vale Community Campus, Birmingham -Thursdays 5.30pm 'til 7.30pm.  W e perfprm  regularly at community events, in Nursing/Residential homes, shopping centres, and have taken part in three musicals!  Generations was chosen as a name because we have/want to attract all ages.

We are  choir of 20 ladies who are eager to learn and have fun. We meet on Tuesday evenings from 7 45pm until 9 45pm. We hold a summer concert in July and A Christmas concert. In addition to this we sing at the Remembrance Service held in Woking town centre and at thr Guide Dogs for the Blind association carol service. We sing a variety of music from Faure's requiem, folk songs to songs from the muiscals.
