The Cupar Choral Society based in Cupar, Fife, Scotland, is a mixed voice, non-auditioning chorus of around 60 members. Due to the very sudden death of our current director the choir is looking to appoint a highly committed, enthusiastic and suitably qualified Musical Director who can continue to build on and further develop the excellent foundations that have been laid.

Due to other commitments, our current MD is leaving the orchestra after the summer term, so the Abney Orchestra are looking for a new MD to take over in September 17.

The Orchestra is made up of around 40 amateur musicians from Mossley and the surrounding areas and from April shall be rehearsing in The Vale, Mossley.  The Orchestra plays a mixture of light classics and popular film music, as well as delving into larger works through our successful 'Come and Play' days.  Performances have included self-run concerts, proms concerts and a new children's concert for 2017.

South Birmingham Sinfonia (SBS) is a friendly thriving non-professional orchestra with around 50 members, performing a wide range of music including major symphonic works and concertos with professional soloists.

We rehearse Monday evenings (7.30-9.40pm) at the Bournville Friends Meeting House, 65, Linden Road, Bournville, Birmingham B30 1JT, during term time.

Milton Keynes Chorale, a long-established 80-strong auditioned SATB choir, has a vacancy for a Musical Director, available from September 2017.  A start date of January 2018 might also be possible.  

We are looking for an outstanding musician with the personal qualities to motivate and bring out the best in choir members so that we can sustain and enhance our musical standards and our local reputation for quality performances.  The choir rehearses on Tuesday evenings during the academic terms and normally performs three main concerts plus a Christmas concert each year.

Halesowen Orchestra is looking for a new Conductor / Music Director to take up the position in September 2017. We currently have around 40 members and rehearse regularly on Monday evenings during school term times at Leasowes Community College, Halesowen, performing 3 concerts per year, often featuring up-and-coming young soloists, at Halesowen Cornbow Hall. The orchestra's repertoire is challenging and varied, including performances in recent years of Elgar's Violin Concerto, Mahler's Symphony No. 4 and Saint-Saëns' Piano Concerto No. 2.

Somerset Chamber Choir seek a Music Director from August 2017. The Choir founded in 1984 is entering a period of significant growth and development so this is a exciting time for a new Music Director to lead and expand horizons. The Falkirk Tryst Orchestra (FTO) was formed by our present Musical Director (MD), Mr. Bob Tait, in 2002. It is a community orchestra with a well-balanced symphonic structure formed from individuals of a wide range of ages and musical abilities. At present the membership stands at approximately 75 and is open to players of orchestral instruments with ability of Grade 4 and above, with guest players included only when essential. The orchestra is managed and run by an active and engaged committee who collaborate closely with the MD.

We are an estalished friendly mixed voice choir of about 60 members who rehearse on Tuesday evenings in Broadstone in Dorset. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic musical director.
