MUSIAL DIRECTOR WANTED - for local choral society of about 30-40 singers.  Experience would be benifitial.  Rehearsals held on Monday evenings in two sessions of end of August to December and January to April and we normally perform via two concerts each year. Brighton Chamber Choir is seeking an experienced choral conductor as Musical Director for January 2019 to succeed our present MD who is leaving after fourteen very successful years.

 

Founded in 1990 we are an auditioned choir of up to 40 members.  We perform both sacred and secular works across a broad but mainly classical repertoire.  We rehearse every Wednesday evening during term time and perform 4-5 concerts a year.

For the West Somerset Singers, a well established SATB choir based in the Taunton Deane area of Somerset.  We are well known locally for our high standard of musical direction and public performance. We are friendly and enthusiastic, currently 35 strong, and enjoy learning and performing a wide musical repertoire. We are looking forward to an exciting future.

The choir rehearse every Monday evening during the spring and autumn terms at Taunton School, culminating in a public concert at the end of each term.

The person we are looking for will be skilled, enthusiastic and dedicated and will encourage and

Carlisle Community Choir was formed in 2012 and is open to everyone regardless of singing
experience or ability to read music. This SATB choir numbers over 80 members and sings a wide 
variety of musical styles. We rehearse every Sunday from 3.30pm to 5.30pm at Holy Trinity on 

Musical Director of North Prospect Community Choir, Plymouth

North Prospect Community Choir is a non-auditioned, inclusive, vibrant, fun and friendly choir in Plymouth, launched in 2016. We have over 30 committed members of various ages and backgrounds who enjoy coming together weekly during term-time for fun and uplifting rehearsals. We perform a concert at the end of every term for our local community, and these are always wonderful and well-supported events. We have excellent links with Mayflower Community Academy where we hold rehearsals and concerts.

Oriel Singers in Liverpool are seeking a new Musical Director to start autumn term 2018.

Membership is approximately 35 singers and we rehearse on Tuesday evenings in central Liverpool following school terms. We perform 4 to 7 concerts/services a year. The choir is non-audition, with voice tests the term after joining if required.

Caerphilly Community Chorus is seeking to form a children’s choir, comprising of local pupils from year 3-6. The post is to commence in September 2018, allowing time to recruit choir members and build up the choir.

 

Junior Voices Conductor

Music for Everyone is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced conductor to lead their Junior Voices choir for children of ages 7-10. The choir rehearses weekly during term-time on Tuesday evenings from 6:15-7:30pm at the Nottingham Emmanuel School (NG2 7YF). They work towards a concert performance at the end of each term. The singers recently participated in the Music for Youth Festival and are currently preparing for a part in the Jonathan Dove opera, Tobias and the Angel at the Nottingham Cathedral Music Festival in June.
