When she sang with us at our Summertime concert last month Lesley Garrett, our Patron, described our performance of Whitacre's Water Night as 'spine-tingling'.

Next month we are off to sing three concerts at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

The Uckfield Community Orchestra is a group of enthusiastic amateur musicians who get together once a week to play music in a relaxed supportive atmosphere.  The Orchestra is made up of young people and adults who play upto around Grade 5 standard, most of whom are currently Grade 3 or above. We welcome instrumentalists from age 8. We have a broad library of music which challenges all players to improve their level of playing.  The choice of music is made by the Musical Director in discussion with members of the committee.  

Our current MD is leaving us at Christmas because of personal circumstances and  therefore the Athenaeum Singers of Warminster are unexpectedly now seeking an experienced dynamic Music Director, ideally  to start in January 2020

We are seeking Music Staff for NYCOS West Lothian Choir to support the Choir Director in rehearsals on Thursday evenings. Staff will already be trained in Kodály Musicianship with some experience in teaching young people.

Peebles choir InChorus is looking for a new Musical Director.

InChorus is an established SATB choir of around 80 members who love to sing all kinds of contemporary music, mainly a cappella, from rock and pop to modern classical. The choir from Peebles in the Scottish Borders is well travelled, enjoying a wide range of events from concert halls and festivals to weddings and smaller performances. A charity itself, InChorus has raised thousands of pounds for other charities.

Assistant Conductor sought for Philharmonic Choir

The choir is seeking to appoint a new Music Director to start in September 2019 to build on our established record and provide stability for the years ahead. The applicant will find a friendly and enthusiastic mixed voices choir and hard-working committee with a loyal and growing following. This is a paid position. Remuneration and professional fees are commensurate with experience and expertise, and guided by professional recommendations. Rehearsals are weekly on Mondays during term time from 7.30 to 9.30pm, including most Bank holidays and some half-terms.

Signature A Cappella Singers are looking for a Musical Director to inspire and support us in refreshing and revitalizing our chorus, and continuing to develop our skills and repertoire.

We are members of the Ladies Association of British Barbershop singers, and are the current Small Chorus Champions. It is important to us however to embrace many forms of a-cappella music and we actively seek out songs of different styles and genres.

Capital Chorus is a men’s a cappella chorus, members of the British Association of Barbershop Singers, and we’re seeking a new director with a vision to continue the chorus’s growth and development. We’re an enthusiastic and diverse group of 30 men, hardworking, quick to learn, receptive to new ideas and with a keen sense of fun. We have a rigorous audition process and use riser recordings to review individual progress. In 2018 we won the most entertaining chorus award at BABS Convention. Our new MD will be energetic and inspiring.
