Somerset Chamber Choir seek a Music Director from August 2017. The Choir founded in 1984 is entering a period of significant growth and development so this is a exciting time for a new Music Director to lead and expand horizons. We seek an outstanding musician who could be well established or starting out on a bright career. The Falkirk Tryst Orchestra (FTO) was formed by our present Musical Director (MD), Mr. Bob Tait, in 2002. It is a community orchestra with a well-balanced symphonic structure formed from individuals of a wide range of ages and musical abilities. At present the membership stands at approximately 75 and is open to players of orchestral instruments with ability of Grade 4 and above, with guest players included only when essential. The orchestra is managed and run by an active and engaged committee who collaborate closely with the MD.

We are an estalished friendly mixed voice choir of about 60 members who rehearse on Tuesday evenings in Broadstone in Dorset. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic musical director. Radcliffe on Trent Male Voice Choir, formed in 1983, has just returned from taking part in the 25th London Welsh Festival of Male Choirs at the Royal Albert Hall in London. We have around 35 members drawn from Nottinghamshire and our accompanist is the internationally renowned Eleonora Babitskaya, who has been with the choir for more than 17 years.

The Folkestone Choral Society is seeking to appoint a new Musical Director from 24 April 2017 due to the retirement of our current post holder.

Consisting of over 100 voices, Folkestone Choral Society is the largest choir in the South Kent area and whilst most members come from Folkestone and Hythe, we draw members from as far afield as Deal, Canterbury, Ashford and Romney Marsh.

The Linlithgow String Orchestra was formed in May 2016 and is a fairly new group. It is an adult orchestra (18+ years) with an approximate standard of grade 5+. It is the only adult string orchestra in West Lothian. The group initially started as part of the BBC's "Get Playing" initiative and "come and play" sessions were held over the summer for musicians to drop in and play.
