South Petherton Combined Arts Choir is looking for a new Director of Music to help develop this enthusiastic, non- audition choir in Somerset, starting in September 2018.

We perform two concerts a year (Christmas Carols and Spring). Our repertoire is largely traditional; the current season will culminate in a performance of Haydn's Creation to celebrate our 70th anniversary.

Rehearsals are Thursdays 7.30 to 9pm.

Musical Director, Worle Community Choir, Weston Super Mare

We are looking for a reliable and skilled MD to take over the musical leadership of our amazing community choir of 65 members, commencing September 2017. Passion and enthusiasm are more important to us than extensive experience of choral conducting. If you are right for us we will work around your skills. We have   a very talented piano accompanist.

The Thames Vale Singers are looking for a Musical Director to succeed our current director Max Fane,who is leaving to further his career as a conductor of music.

We are a successful amateur choir of 70 members, founded in 1927 to participate in the Leith Hill Musical Festival. In addition to the Festival we perform an autumn and summer concert plus a carol concert.

The Choir is looking for an enthusiastic and talented musical director who will continue to build on our success.

We rehearse on Tuesdays at 7.45pm and are looking for our new MD to start late November.

Can you Strike up the Band?

Crawley Millennium Concert Band requires a new Musical Director.  Is that person you?  The band is looking for someone who has had some experience of directing a music ensemble, but who also has the enthrusiasm and vision to take the band into the future.

Due to other commitments, our current MD is leaving the orchestra after the summer term, so the Abney Orchestra are looking for a new MD to take over in September 17.

The Orchestra is made up of around 40 amateur musicians from Mossley and the surrounding areas and from April shall be rehearsing in The Vale, Mossley.  The Orchestra plays a mixture of light classics and popular film music, as well as delving into larger works through our successful 'Come and Play' days.  Performances have included self-run concerts, proms concerts and a new children's concert for 2017.

South Birmingham Sinfonia (SBS) is a friendly thriving non-professional orchestra with around 50 members, performing a wide range of music including major symphonic works and concertos with professional soloists.

We rehearse Monday evenings (7.30-9.40pm) at the Bournville Friends Meeting House, 65, Linden Road, Bournville, Birmingham B30 1JT, during term time.

Milton Keynes Chorale, a long-established 80-strong auditioned SATB choir, has a vacancy for a Musical Director, available from September 2017.  A start date of January 2018 might also be possible.  

We are looking for an outstanding musician with the personal qualities to motivate and bring out the best in choir members so that we can sustain and enhance our musical standards and our local reputation for quality performances.  The choir rehearses on Tuesday evenings during the academic terms and normally performs three main concerts plus a Christmas concert each year.

Conductor / Music Director

Halesowen Orchestra is looking for a new Conductor / Music Director to take up the position in September 2017. We currently have around 40 members and rehearse regularly on Monday evenings during school term times at Leasowes Community College, Halesowen, performing 3 concerts per year, often featuring up-and-coming young soloists, at Halesowen Cornbow Hall. The orchestra's repertoire is challenging and varied, including performances in recent years of Elgar's Violin Concerto, Mahler's Symphony No. 4 and Saint-Saëns' Piano Concerto No. 2.
