Choir Accompanist

Mersey Wave Music was founded in 2013 by local music director and pianist Jason Ellis and mezzo-soprano Kathryn Rudge.

We are based in South Liverpool and have over 80 members from across Liverpool and Halton who participate in our weekly music groups and classes. As well as receiving music education our members are also invited to participate and perform in Mersey Wave Concerts and community events throughout the year.

Mersey Wave Music organises regular live music events and concerts. We also provide music for special events, local organisations and fundraise for charities and good causes. All of our events are made possible through the generous support of sponsors, local venues and volunteers …and our amazing members!

 

Our communty choir is currently seeking an accompanist to participate in regular rehearsals on Wednesday evening 7pm-9pm in South Liverpool and accompany the choir during our performances. Music genres include Classical, Musical Theatre, Pop, Sacred.

Fees are to be paid monthly and starting from £30 per rehearsal plus travel costs and increasing depending on experience. Those with no prior experience are encourage to apply as this position would be ideal for somone looking to develop accompanying and/or sight reading skills.
