Double Bass Leader

Nottingham Symphony Orchestra (NSO) is one of the leading amateur symphony orchestras in the UK, looking for a leader for our Double Bass section. We typically perform between 3 to 4 concerts per year in various concert venues and churches in and around Nottingham, working with a wide range of soloists and regularly collaborating with local choirs. We rehearse every Monday evening during term time, 19:30-21:30, at the Becket School in Nottingham. 

This is a paid position, to lead, strengthen and guide the Double Bass section. The expectation is that applicants are at least Grade 8, able to lead a section, will attend all rehearsals and help work with the committee to grow the Double Bass section further.
